What Happens During Your Exterior Detail
Pre-rinse—we start with a low-pressure rinse to loosen surface dirt and debris before anything contacts the paint. This step lifts the bulk of road grime so the wash mitt never drags contamination across the clear coat.
Two-bucket hand wash—we wash panel by panel using a pH-balanced shampoo and a clean microfiber mitt, drawing from a separate rinse bucket between each pass to keep grit away from the paint. Wheels and tires are cleaned with dedicated brushes before we touch the body.
Decontamination — after the wash, we apply a chemical iron remover to dissolve bonded particles from brake dust and rail fallout. On vehicles with rough-feeling paint, we follow with a clay bar treatment to pull any remaining embedded contamination from the clear coat.
